Tennessee vs Ole Miss: Live Stream, Time, TV

The Tennessee Lady Vols host the Ole Miss Rebels Thursday night. Here is the preview for the women’s basketball Volunteers.

They lost three of four games and the respect they had nationally when they were undefeated. Now, the Tennessee Lady Vols will be looking to get back on track Thursday as they host the Ole Miss Rebels.

Holly Warlick’s team was blown out at home by the Mississippi State Bulldogs last week following a blown 23-point lead to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Still, they are No. 9 in the RPI with now a Top 20 strength of schedule at 16-3 and 5-2 in the SEC.

Beating Ole Miss at home won’t do much to boost their status with anybody. But their current standing shows there is still a lot to play for.

Ole Miss comes to town at 11-8 and 1-5 in the conference. Their only SEC win is over the Florida Gators, and Florida got revenge on them last week. On a three-game losing streak, they’re having a hard time getting back on track as they visit Knoxville Thursday and then face the Mississippi State Bulldogs Sunday.

That makes life very difficult for these guys overall. They clearly don’t have the momentum they had after their 10-3 start. But Tennessee doesn’t have its momentum either, making this match-up a bit intriguing. Here’s all the information you need for the game.

After Ole Miss, the Tennessee Lady Vols will face another test. They travel to Baton Rouge to take on the LSU Tigers Sunday.

At 12-6 overall and 4-3 in the SEC, the Tigers are an above average conference team and very dangerous to beat at home. They will also have a week off to prepare, making it a very dangerous game.

As a result, Tennessee could be looking ahead of Ole Miss, which could make this game even more tricky. After last week’s debacle, they need to stay focused. Falling at home to the Rebels would make things 10 times worse.
